A special event for the end of April.
Its National Mammal Week, no better time to be out and about recording mammals!
Our event is also part of the international City Nature Challenge with over 650 cities taking part.
We will be carrying out small mammal trapping, giving you a chance to see these amazing species up close. And also tracks and signs surveys, to hone your tracking techniques.
Meet like minded people and do something different.
Our event runs over 3 days from Friday 24th -Sunday April 26th April
PLEASE MESSAGE ME YOUR CAR REGISTRATION BEFORE 3PM FRIDAY IF YOU WILL BE PARKING ON SITE
Come for as much, or as little as you would like.
We will be surveying at Staffordshire University Nature Reserve, Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent
Please dress appropriately for the weather, bring gloves and wear sturdy footwear.
Bring lunch if you are coming for the whole day on Sunday.
Meeting point for the start of each day is the Car Park by the three sports fields at the back of the Leek Road University Campus.

First trap check 08.00 Saturday 25th April - All welcome
Second check 19.00 Saturday 25th - All welcome
Final check and tracks and signs survey from 08.00 on 26th April - leave site 15.00 approximately. All welcome.
